  Text	John F. Pettyjohn, the son of Joseph and Alice Pettyjohn, was born March 21, 1902 in Clay County, southwest of Clay City. He departed this life May 19, 1958 at the age of 56 years. He was united in marriage to Nellie Wease, Jan 21, 1925. To this union was born one daughter Loretta. He is survived by his wife, Nellie; one daughter, Loretta Wilder; four brothers, Dan, Tom, Henry and Lewis; three sisters, Lou, Belle, and Mary.
