Welcome to My Genealogy Site

My content comes from many different sources and surely contains some errors. I will correct those errors as they are discovered.

Here you'll find:

  • Genealogies from my hometown of Clay City, Illinois.
  • Genealogies of military veterans and their extended families from Clay County, Illinois; Richland County, Illinois; and Wayne County, Illinois
  • Kaleb Beaver's "World War I Veterans buried in Richland County, Illinois." Kaleb has done extensive research on Richland County Veterans of all wars and has hosted many displays of their uniforms and the equipment they used. His displays can be viewed at the History Museum in Olney, Illinois.
  • Les Higgason's "Civil War Veterans, Buried in Clay County, Illinois (including Confederate)" Les was the Sexton for Elmwood Cemetery in Flora, Illinois for many years. He has done extensive research on Clay County, Illinois Veterans of all wars. I thank him for his hard work and dedication.
  • I'm a member of Clay County Genealogy Society (Louisville, Illinois) and Richland County Genealogy Society (Olney, Illinois).

I'm constantly updating and adding new content, so I encourage you to visit often.

This website is available in English, German, French, and Spanish.

    Future Projects Include:

    • Adding Les Higgason's "Spanish-American Veterans Buried in Clay County, Illinois." to the website.
    • Converting headstone photos to links on Find a Grave.
