Beautifully wooded and well-kept rural cemetery. Active with burials from 1826 through the present.
Directions: About 10 miles west of Springfield, IL; 2 miles west of Berlin, IL. Take I-72 West to Exit 82; north on Waverly Rd. Turn left/west onto Old Jacksonville Road; cemetery is about 1 mile and on your left. The Island Grove Methodist Church is inside the gates in the middle of the gated cemetery.
