  Born in Bullock Springs, Arkansas to the late Noel Sr.and Hazel Lingo McRae. A Korean War veteran of the U.S. Navy. An educator and a retired coach who developed the first football team at both Mountain Pine and Ola High Schools. Preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Myrtle Sheets McRae; son Brent W. McRae; sisters, Pat Ward and Jackie Stanford. Survived by wife, Opal Frazier McRae of Hot Springs; sons David McRae of Little Rock and Bobby Brassie of Olney, Illinois; daughters Margaret Lynn Tribout of Belleville, Illinois, Kathy McRae of Shiloh, Illinois, DeAnn Almond of Hot Springs, Becky Canaday of Forrest City, Holly Jones of Glenwood, Sharon Freeman of Carthage, Missouri and Carla Martinez of Hot Springs; brother Bruce McRae of Ore City, Texas; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
