  Barbara Rumsey, 56, Olney, died early Tuesday morning, July 19, 1986 in Humble, TX. Services will be held at 10 a.m. saturday, July 23, at the chapel of Zirkle Funeral Home, the Rev. Cecil Works presiding. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Zirkle Funeral Home. Mrs. Rumsey was born March 24, 1932, in Johnston City to Everett and Agnes Mae (Crick) Beaver. She married George Rumsey on April 2, 1955 in Johnston City, and he survives. She was a member of Olney Southern Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, Jasper-Richland Antique Study Group, Richland County Homemaker Extension Association, XI Delta Beta of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was past president of the Olney Garden Club. Surviving in addition to her husband, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Mike and Teri Rumsey of Humble, Texas, and Paul and Brenda Rumsey of Port Hueneme, Calif.; two brothers, Harold G. Beaver of Holland, TX and James Roy Beaver of Minonk; three grandchildren; one niece and three nephews. Obituary published in the Olney Daily Mail.
