    William L. Maglone Sr. passed away at St Mary's hospital, November 7 2022 at 9:46 a.m. Bill went to be with the Lord. He was born in Flora, Illinois on November 27, 1950. The son of Marvin L. Maglone and Mary W. Miller. Bill married Barbara J (Mears) Shingleton, July 4, 1987, in Decatur Illinois. They were married 35 years.

    Bill had two sisters, LaVera (Bill) Hensley Decatur IL. and LuElla (Kenneth) Cummins of Burleson, TX. a brother Arther Maglone (Thelma) Virginia Beach, VA.

    His children were Jerry Maglone Chicago, IL., Brian Maglone Decatur, IL., Duane (Roberta) Maglone, Decatur, IL., and Christina Maglone, Decatur IL. Step-children, Oscar Shingleton (Kalee) Decatur, IL., Doris Leesman Decatur, IL., and Everette Shingleton Granet, OK.

    Grand children, Roger Maglone, Ryan Maglone, Krissy Maglone, Dustin Maglone, Jacob Maglone, Mitchell Maglone, and Leeanna Maglone. Step - grandchildren, Elizabeth Stanley, James Stanley, Ronnie Leesman, Morgann Shingleton, Hialeah Shingleton, Christopher Shingleton, Katylenn Shingleton. Kayla Binkley, Shelby Binkley. Great-grandchildren, Rose Zeimer, Logan Maple, and Brianna Maple, Kiari and Jace.

    Bill's first job was at Decatur Memorial hospital, He worked at, Kelly Potato Chip Factory, the Star gas Station, Decatur Window Cleaners, Decatur Auto Auction, and for 30 years he owned and operated BJ's Cleaning Service before retiring.

    Bill served as vice-president and president of the Crusin Roosters Car Club. He loved restoring old cars and remodeling his home and building things. He loved playing his guitars and loved old music and movies. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and searching his family tree.

    Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two infant sisters, grandson, Austin Binkley, and two great granddaughters.



    Memorial service is incomplete, at Meridian Community Church of God.
