Departed the Continental U.S. on April 4, 1943 bound for the Pacific Theater Of Operations. Assigned to and served with the 451st Amphibious Truck Company. Honorably discharged as a Technician Fifth Grade on October 25, 1944 at the Separation Center, Fort Sheridan, Illinois. Earned the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and The WWII Victory Medal.
