Richard H. "Dick" Pearce, 77, of Flora, IL died at 9:00 PM Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

He was born March 21, 1932 in Flora to Charles Edwin Pearce Sr. & Goldie Atherton (Dobbs) Pearce. Dick was a self-employed welder and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his son: Dale Pearce of Rosanky, TX; granddaughter: Jillian Pearce of Rosanky, TX; 3 brothers: Charles Edwin Pearce Jr. of Flora, Kenneth Pearce of Flora, and William Pearce & wife Joan of Flora; 1 sister: Vivian Fitzgerald of Flora.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother (Norman Pearce).

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday (December 5, 2009) at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kneff Cemetery, Flora. Visitation will be from 1 PM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
