  INGRAHAM — Betty Louise Brooks, 84, of Ingraham passed away at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at home. Betty was born Jan. 21, 1927, in Clay County, the daughter of William Raymond Pugh and Linda Katherine (Grove) Pugh. She married Jasper O. Brooks in 1945 in Arkansas. He died in 1986. She was a homemaker. She was affiliated with Southern Baptist Church in Ingraham. She is survived by her sons, James Brooks, Tom (Gina) Brooks and Randy Brooks; daughters, Eva (Ron) Hostettler, Linda (Kenny) Kessler and Pat (Jim) Gothard; daughter-in-law, Kathy Brooks; brother, William Neil Pugh; fifteen grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 17 great-stepgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Ray Dean Brooks; daughter, Donna Jean Brooks in infancy; brother, Dale Pugh; sister, Shirley Brooks; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Neal Funeral Home, Louisville. Burial was in Ingraham Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Clay County Hospice.
