  Lois June Stivers, 87, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2011, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. She was born in Olney, Illinois on June 14, 1924 to the late Hobart and Agnes Schmoker Gardner. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Penny Stivers and a brother-in-law, Walter Kester. She married Louis Stivers Jr. on August 20, 1947. He survives. She is also survived by two sons, Michael (L. Debbie) Stivers and Philip A. (Laurel) Stivers; two granddaughters, Rebekah (Brian) Beloungy and Sarah (Ryan) Ford; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Stivers and Elijah Ford and one sister, Ruth Kester.
