- Gladys Mae (Morgan) Beidleman White, 98, of Olney, formerly of Noble, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Burgin Manor in Olney.
Gladys Mae was born April 28, 1918 in Douglas County, Illinois, the daughter of Floyd and Ethel Irene (McDade) Morgan.
She married Forrest Beidleman on March 22, 1938. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1984.
She later married James White, who also precedes her in death.
Gladys Mae and her husband, Forrest, owned and operated Beidleman Art Craft in Noble for many years. Gladys Mae enjoyed fishing alongside her husband. She loved animals of all kinds. She also enjoyed crafting items for family and friends. Gladys Mae took pleasure in genealogy, tracing the Beidleman and Morgan family history for generations. Gladys Mae loved her family. She was the second mother to her younger siblings.
She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Miller of West Liberty, IL, Doris Rosemary Spillman and husband Jim of Olney, Anna Lucille Eblin and husband Bob of Mt. Vernon, IL, and Wilma Cummins of Olney, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Forrest Beidleman & James White, son, Gary William Beidleman, two brothers, Louis Morgan and George B. Morgan, two sisters, Virgie Morgan and Maude Straley, and three nephews.
