- Peter C. Arnone, 86, of Olney, died at 5:01 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Mound Cemetery in rural Oblong.
Mr. Arnone was born November 6, 1924, in Independence, La., the son of Jake and Christina Lucido Arnone. He married his first wife, Betty Bond, on January 6, 1945. She preceded him in death on December 17, 1991.
He was the owner of Arnone Body Shop in Willow Hill for several years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Olney American Legion.
Mr. Arnone is survived by his two sons and his daughter-in-law, Rick C. and Karen Arnone, of Robinson, and Michael T. Arnone, of Olney; daughter, Tina Arnone, of Olney; four grandchildren and granddaughter-in-law, Travis and Sarah Arnone, of Robinson, and Gage, Kalia, and Kaylee Arnone, all of Newton; two great-grandchildren, Peighton Arnone, of Willow Hill, and Mason C. Arnone, of Robinson; brother and sister-in-law, Jake and Judy Arnone, of Chicago; two sisters, Josie Utley, of Olney, and Vickie Sucher, of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Christina Arnone; wife, Betty; daughter, Heather Rich; brother, Sam Arnone; and two sisters, Mary Caruso and Katie Rowkowski.
