  DARRELL SCOTT, of Mt. Erie, Illinois passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Burgin Manor at Olney, Illinois. Darrell was born August 5, 1947 at Mt. Erie, Illinois to Leland Eugene and Wanda Berniece (Fout) Scott. Darrell was a farmer on the family farm. He enjoyed Game Reserve (TNT) at Mt. Erie, watching television, hunting dove, quail, and pheasant, and fishing. Darrell is survived by three sisters Marjorie (Floyd) Dowds of Opdyke, Illinois, Linda (John) Crouse of Olney, Illinois and Carylon (Ed) Derler of Ramsey, Illinois. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother Bobby Joe Scott. Funeral service will be 10:30am Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be at Wells Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Send Flowers
