Mary Ann Ulm, 73, of Noble, passed away July 5, 2024 at Carle RMH, Olney, IL.
Mary Ann Ulm was born June 4, 1951 in Lawrence Co., IL to parents, Robert and Sarah Glendora (Ravellette) Judy. She married Charles "Chuck" Ulm on August 6, 1971 at the Glenwood Church in Noble.
Mary Ann was a longtime member of the Glenwood Church and participated in the church choir for many years. She enjoyed attending all her children and grandchildren's activities and being their biggest cheerleader.
Mary Ann was a dedicated teacher at West Richland Schools and retired after 30+ years of teaching.
Mary Ann took pleasure in going for long walks with friends and she also enjoyed playing cards with anyone who was willing.
Mary Ann was a kind, selfless, caring, generous and genuinely sweet woman who would share her love for the Lord with anyone she met. Mary Ann was known for never saying an unkind word about anyone and always had a smile on her face.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 52 years, Chuck Ulm of Noble; children, Rob (Tanille) Ulm of Charleston, IL, Ryan (Keri) Ulm of Newton, and Misti (Robert) Donathan of Olney; grandchildren, Audrey, Jackson, and Allison Ulm, Owen, Cambell, and Lillian Ulm, Rolen and Joslyn Hinterscher, and Adelyn Donathan; siblings, Ray (Georgianna) Judy of Jasper, IN, David (Kathy) Judy of Noble, Julia (Don) Hall of Noble, and Sarah (Roger) Zwilling of Olney; special friends, Mick and Betty Hallam of Newton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney has been entrusted with arrangements. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9th at 10:00 AM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.
Interment will take place following the funeral service at Crest Haven Memorial Park.
