  Olney Daily Mail - Olney, IL Clarence "Slim" Prichard, 88, of The Villages, Fla., and previously of Noble, died Thursday, January 7, 2010. Burial with military honors will be in Florida National Cemetery. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, is in charge of arrangements. He lived in Noble before moving to Central Florida in 1982. He was a World War II Army 8th Air Force veteran, 64-year member of both the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He retired from Pure Transportation Company as a pipeline connection foreman. He was a dominating softball pitcher and lifelong Chicago Cubs fan; enjoyed quail hunting, bowling and golf; and served as President of both Olney Lions Club and Noble school board. Mr. Prichard is survived by his wife of 66 years, Nevada; son, Ed, The Villages; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
