  Robert E. Hall, 76, of Clay City, died June 17, at his home. Mr. Hall was born April 28, 1908 in Richland County, IL the son of Pearly and Della Jones Hall. He married Freda Gordon July 10, 1928, and she survives. He was a retired Oil field mechanic for Pure Oil and was a member of the Clay City Christian Church and the Noble Masonic Lodge. Survivors include a son, Donald; four daughters, Shelby Bryant, Winona Schnell, Pat Norris, Della Thomas; 29 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and three sisters. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hosselton-Bookhout-Engelmeier Funeral Home in Clay City with Rev. Barry Sikes presiding. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Clay City Cemetery.
