DOROTHY MAXINE BROOKER, 93 of Trenton, IL, formerly of Geff, passed away 11:05PM, Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Clinton Manor Living Center at New Baden, IL.
Dorothy was born May 7, 1920 at Geff, IL to Carl Allen and Bernice Irene (Brown) Blessing. She married Arthur Wayne Brooker June 12, 1939 at Marion, KY and he preceded her in death March 29, 1999.
Dorothy was a homemaker and farm wife, and worked at Airtex for 25 years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church near Geff, IL where she was a Sunday school teacher and youth leader. She loved and respected her church family and continually studied her Bible.
Dorothy is survived by one son Chris Brooker of Allendale, IL, one daughter Nancy (Randy) Weber of Trenton, IL, seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, brother Clifford and parents.
Funeral services for Dorothy Maxine Brooker will be 11AM Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Christian Church. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at Fairfield, IL. Visitation will be Friday 9-11AM at Pleasant Grove Christian Church.
Memorials may be given to Pleasant Grove Christian Church and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
