David Lee Sisney, age 45, of Mattoon passed away at 7:46 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

He was born on Nov. 10, 1964 to David H. and Shirley J. Melton Sisney. He married Katherine Ann Walsher. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter, Stasha Doreen Huddleston of Champaign; his parents; sisters, Sheila Sisney of Stewardson and Debbie Tyler of Ogden; niece, Chelsea Tyler; nephews, Brandon Sisney, wife Courtney, and Aaron Tyler; stepsons, Joshua Dickson and Timothy Dickson and stepdaughter, Nikisha Dickson.

David married Walsher, Katherine Ann on 1 Sep 1990. Katherine was born on 16 Sep 1963; died on 24 Mar 2010; was buried in Bethel Cemetery, West Liberty, Jasper County, Illinois. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Shirley J. Sisney, 70, of Dundas, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011, at her home.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011, at Bethel Cemetery, Fox Township, Jasper County, Illinois. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Crain Funeral Home Newton is in charge of the arrangements.

Shirley was born on January 18, 1941, in Cleone, Illinois, the daughter of Jack and Frances (Smitley) Melton. On January 24, 1957, Shirley married David H. Sisney. He survives. Shirley retired from E.R. Moore Cap & Gown in Newton.

Survivors include her husband, David Sisney, of Dundas; daughters, Sheila Sisney, of Stewardson, and Debbie Tyler (husband Mike) of Ogdon, Ill.; three grandchildren, Brandon Sisney (wife Courtney), Chelsea Tyler and Aaron Tyler; brothers, Jack Melton (wife Gloria) of Cisco, Ill., Larry Melton (wife Wanda) of Arcola, Ill., and Denzel Melton (wife Marsha) of Arcola, Ill.; sisters, Pat Hackler (husband Nolan) of Arcola, Ill., Carolyn Bogan, of Palm Bay, Fla., Beverly McCammon (husband Jack) of Casey, Ill., and Marlene Bray, of Monticello, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her son, David L. Sisney, her parents, and brothers, Dick and Tom Melton
