Rhonda Renee Toy, age 52 of Olney, passed away at 10:26 PM on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Noble.

Funeral service will be at 1 PM on Monday, April 23, 2018 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney. Visitation will be from 11 AM – 1 PM on Monday, April 23, 2018 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney. Burial will be at Clay City Cemetery in Clay City.

Rhonda was born on September 10, 1965 in Olney, the daughter of Ronald and Hazel (McDowell) Bell.

She worked at Champion Laboratories in Albion. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Olney. She was a member of the Better Breathers Club in Vincennes. She enjoyed reading, listening to music and drawing cats. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Rhonda is survived by her 2 daughters, Kelly Michels (Brandan) of Madisonville, KY and Jayne McClenning (fiancé Tanner Milburn) of Noble; 3 brothers, Dave Bell of Morris, IL, Rick Bell (companion Teri Rakes) of Pittsburg, MO and Greg Bell (Diana) of Walnut, IL; 2 grandchildren, Valerie and Lukas Milburn; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Hazel Bell.

Notes:

Hazel Bernice Clark, 61, of Olney, IL, died Sept. 26, 2002, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Clark was born December 19, 1940, in Noble, the daughter of Clayson and Nella Luke McDowell.

She was self-employed and enjoyed caring for the elderly. She was a member of the Olney V.F.W. Auxiliary and Olney Eagles Auxiliary.

Mrs. Clark is survived by three sons, David, Rick, and Gregory Bell; a daughter, Rhonda Toy; two brothers, Ronald and Glenn McDowell; six sisters, Dorothy Bricker, Barbara House, Nella Dilley, Betty Lemmons, Leona DiSandro, and Kay Lomas; several nieces, nephews, 13 grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Joshua Bell, one brother, Adrian McDowell, and one sister, JoAnn McDowell.

Funeral services were at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home with burial in the Clay City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.
