    Notes:

    Mary Elizabeth was born in New Albany, IN and died in Clay City, IL. She was married in New Albany to Henry Emery about the year 1848. They resided several places in Indiana and finally removed from Leipsic, IN to Keysville, MO. After about 3 years they moved to a place near Louisville, IL. There Mr. Emery passed away. She then moved to Clay City, IL.

    She was the mother of ten children, six preceeded her. Surviving are her children Anna Huddson, Alfred, James, & Richard Emery. Also a sister, Mrs. Catherine Forester and a brother H. C. Dempster.
