Cemetery originally called New Mount Hope Cemetery, purchased in 1906 from Mt. Hope Cemetery by an independent cemetery association. Roselawn Cemetery is just east of the U of I Memorial Stadium and just west of Mount Hope Cemetery near the border between Champaign and Urbana.
