  PEKIN ~ Constance May "Connie" Waggoner, 83, of Peoria, passed away at 12:52 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Heartland Health Care Center of Peoria. She was formerly of Pekin. Born September 3, 1930 in South Pekin to Christ and Elvera (Raineri) Nitaros, she married Eldo Verl Waggoner on August 12, 1950 in Pekin. He died November 25, 2007 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are two sisters, Chris Nitros of Peoria and Jean Stout of South Pekin. A homemaker, Connie enjoyed reading and was an animal lover. She was of the Catholic faith. Private graveside services will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek of Saint Joseph Catholic Church will officiate.
