    • Ryan Bandy, age 35, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Flora, Illinois passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at St. Alexius Hospital in St. Louis.

      Ryan was born May 1, 1978 in Olney, Illinois to Carl W. and Brenda L. (Kittle) Bandy. He was a member of the F.H.S Class of '96 and attended E.I.U. Ryan worked as an information systems analyst for Sylogistics, working in the BJC Health Center facilities. From an early age, Ryan was interested in computers and went on to make it a career. He had a special relationship with his nephew Rayce and was baptized in the Southern Baptist Church.

      He is survived by his parents: Carl and Brenda Bandy; sister: Kassi (Ben) Michels; maternal grandmother: Mary Kittle; paternal grandmother: Norma Dean; aunts and uncles: Connie (Gayle) Osborne, Patty (Charlie) Peters, Christine (Steve) Hosselton, Gary (Sherrie) Kittle , John (Janet) Bandy, and Christine Norman; along with many cousins and friends.

      He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather (Lawrence Kittle), paternal grandfathers (Guy Bandy and Wid Dean), and a cousin (Andrea Weiler).

      The funeral service for Ryan Bandy was held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.

      Interment was in Floral Garden of Memories.

      The family has suggested that memorial donations be made to Fur A Good Paws, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Clay County Cancer Crusaders.
