Notes - Ellarea worked alongside Hubert for many years on their farm south of Clay City, raising a family, and genuinely living a Christian life. She lovingly cared for her children and later her grandchildren, often taking the time to come outdoors and play with them when she wasnt busy cooking meals and baking the very best pies, sewing, and helping others. She enjoyed camping and traveling, and worked for a time at J.C. Penney. She had been an active member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and served on the board.
