Notes - Roscoe O. Krantz, 93, formerly of Montgomery, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Bigfork, MN. He was born October 30, 1916 in Clay County, IL, the son of the late Frank and Myrtle (Strange) Krantz. Roscoe was a farmer in Lee County, IL. Prior to moving to Minnesota, Roscoe was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Aurora. Survivors include his children, Earl (Pat) Krantz, Richard (Bonnie) Krantz, Dennis Krantz and Pam (Woody) Bates; step children, Eileen (John) Beverley, Gladys Simonetti, Charles (Barbara) Underhile, Judith Wilson, Lester Underhile, Mary (Ken) Wisdom and David Underhile; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Harlan (Fern) Krantz and his sister, Phyllis (Donald) Baumgarden. Roscoe was preceded in death by his wife Katherine; five brothers, Charlie, Edward, Henry, James and Frank Krantz and three sisters, Eunice Davis, Ethel Wilbur and Pauline Wyman.
Interment will be at Fairview Park, DeKalb.
