  Harry J. Hance, 62, of Clay City died January 9, 1973 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. He was born in Strawberry Point, Iowa; married Norma Genelle Abbott; leaves wife; sons, James and Roger; daughters, Mrs. Norma Franklin, Mrs. Barbara Tolliver; sisters, Mrs. Wanda Fessler, Mrs. Stella Smith, Mrs. Evelyn Delonshaw, Mrs. Ruth Hawley, and Mrs. Georgia Askren; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. One daughter preceded him in death. Services were held at Cardascio-Easley Funeral Home in Clay City with burial in the Clay City Cemetery.
