  Obituary for Doris Jeanne Louise Leesman Doris Jeanne Louise Leesman, 55, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away January 5, 2024, in her home. Doris was born in Decatur on July 7, 1968, the daughter of Everette and Barbara (Mears) Shingleton. She was a home health care worker. In her free time, she was an avid gamer and twitch streamer. She was an accomplished artist. She enjoyed fishing and family time, especially with her grandchildren. Doris is survived by her mother Barbara Maglone; children Elizabeth Stanley of Decatur, James Stanley of Decatur, and Ronnie (Ashley Fontes) Leesman of Blue Mound; siblings Oscar (Kalee) Shingleton of Decatur and Everette Shingleton II of Oklahoma; grandchildren Rose Ziemer, Logan Maple, Brienne Maple, Madalyn Scales, and Ashton Leesman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Doris. A memorial service will be held later.
