    • Samuel Luther Frank was born in Hardinburg, Breckenridge, KY, January 1, 1834 and died in Sailor Springs, IL, May 29, 1914.

      He married Miss Emma Hamilton near Rockport, IN June, 1860. Five children were born: Norva Eugene, Samuel Victor, Caddie Lincoln, Harry Clifton, and one who died in infancy. Caddie drowned and Samuel and Harry died in early youth. His aged wife died January 10, 1913 leaving
      one son, Norva E. who survives him.

      He served in the Civil War in Co. E 12th Regiment of Ky Calvary and was discharged August 23, 1865. He moved to Spencer County to Richland County, Il. Two years later to North Clay City Twp.

      Three brothers, Norvan R. George H. and John O. and a sister Mrs. Rhoda Ely survive.
