    • Dolores M. Clark, 86, formerly of Olney, died at 10:11 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011, in Lee's Summit, Mo.

      Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Reverend Jeremy Henson officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney.

      Dolores was born May 7, 1925, the daughter of Elmer and Beulah (Buckles) Nettleton. She married Lee Clark. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2010.

      She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Olney. She was a long-time resident of Olney. She spent most of her working years at the Olney shoe factory. She was an original Rosie the Riveter during World War II. She built P-47 fighters at the Republic plant in Evansville, Ind. She married Lee Clark after the war and they lived 63 years together, mostly in Olney. She was active at Immanuel United Methodist Church until moving in 2009.

      Mrs. Clark is survived by her son, Phillip Clark and his wife, Sandy, of Lee's Summit, Mo.; granddaughters, Kathryn Dietzel and her husband, Andrew, of Omaha, Neb., and Karen Pringle and her husband, Brian, of Olathe, Kan,; and great-grandson, Jastin Pringle.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Beulah Nettleton, and husband, Lee Clark.

      Memorials may be made to American Red Cross.
