      Dorothy J. Churchill, 77, of Mt. Erie, died at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at her residence.

      Mrs. Churchill was born September 22, 1934, in Joliet. She was a homemaker.

      She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Blair, of Mt. Carmel, Susan Churchill, of Sailor Springs, Connie Churchill, of Delaware, and Crystal Churchill-Tenis, of Mt. Carmel; sons, Norman Churchill Sr., of Mt. Erie, David Churchill, of West Salem, Michael Churchill, of Bridgeport, and Jesie Churchill, of Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

      Mrs. Churchill was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Norman, one daughter, three sisters, three brothers, and two grandchildren.

      Funeral services were held at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Mound Cemetery in Pana.
