    • Leslie D. Anderson, age 74, well known resident of the Claremont community, passed
      away early Sunday morning at the Monticello Nursing Home in Mt. Carmel where he had been a patient for the past few weeks.

      Mr. Anderson was born in Richland county, the son of Samuel Anderson and Caroline
      Gerber Anderson. He was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church and was affiliated
      with the Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney.

      A veteran of World War I, Mr. Anderson wasa member of several veteran organizations and also a member of several Masonic bodies.

      He leaves a brother Orry Anderson of Olney Route 4. There are several nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services will be held in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney with Pastor Glenn Anderson officiating. Interment with full military honors rendered by Olney Veteran
      organizations will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Claremont township. Friends may call at the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home then at he church.

      The family has requested that hose desiring to do so may ofer Memorial to the Heart Fund in memory of Mr. Anderson.
