  V. Bernadine Taylor, 90, of Flora, and formerly, of Olney, died at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Flora Healthcare Center in Flora. Visitation will be Tuesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Services will be held Wednesday at the funeral home with Brother John Craig officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont. Mrs. Taylor was born on January 16,1919, in Fairfield, the daughter of Elmer and Emma (Gray) Thatcher. She married Ray Dean Taylor on February 15,1940. He preceded her in death on October 8,1987. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ in Olney. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son, Eugene Taylor and his wife, Alice Faye, of Parkersburg; daughter, Phyllis Lemons, of Flora; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Dean Taylor; sisters, Aileen Lewis, Maxine Mitchell and Hazel Thatcher; and brother, Leslie Thatcher. Olney Daily Mail (IL)
