  Maurice C. Drewes, 89, Wendelin passed away on April 14, 2013 at Hamilton Point Rehab, Newburgh, IN. Maurice was born on November 24, 1923 in Wendelin, IL to Henry and Dora (Ginder) Drewes. Maurice was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church of Wendelin. He was a fur trapper, hunter, and avid outdoors man. Maurice married Pauline (Taylor) Drewes October 15, 1960 in Olney. They enjoyed 35 years of marriage together. She precedes him in death. Maurice is survived by daughter, Linda Bush and husband Jerry of Springfield, IL. son, James Drewes of Noble, IL. son, Kevin Drewes of Michigan City, IN. son, Leonard Drewes and wife Mary of Noble, IL. three grandchildren, Danny Drewes and wife Morgan, Lindsey Drewes, and Amberlynn Drewes. Maurice is preceded in death by parents, wife, two brothers and one sister
