    • Ina May Rinnert, 91, of Flora, IL died at 8:20 AM Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Christus Schumbert Highland Hospital in Shreveport, LA.

      She was born January 13, 1919 in Clay County, IL to Gene & Ethel (Beard) Harned. She married Hubert Rinnert on June 29, 1940 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1995.

      Ina was a homemaker and her memberships included the following: First Baptist Church of Flora, the DFO Sunday School Class of the church, Flora Women's Club, Clay County Hospital Auxiliary, and Beta Sigma Phi.

      She is survived by 2 sons: James Rinnert of Chicago and Max Rinnert & wife Nancy of Pensacola, FL; 1 daughter: Sharon Newsome & husband Robert of Shreveport, LA; 2 grandchildren: Chris Newsome & wife Catherine of Dunwoody, GA and Randall Newsome of New York City, NY; 3 great-grandchildren: Caralee, Ben & Jack.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 brother (William Harned).

      Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Monday (September 20, 2010) at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, with Bill Atwood and Rev. Jay Keele officiating.

      Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora. Visitation will be from 2 PM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
