Burchett, 53 years old, died at the family home in Maybelle Hills district April 28 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife; one son, Dell E. Burchett, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Malone of Miami and Morieta Burchett, of the home, also four brothers and one sister, living at distant points. Funeral services were held at Maybelle schoolhouse Thursday, April 30, the Reverend Michael officiating.
