  Juanita J. McCollum, 83, of Flora passed away peacefully at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the Flora Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Flora. Juanita was born on October 1, 1938 in East Alton, Illinois to Carl Leon and Alta Marie (Ross) Shroyer. She married Lowell McCollum, Jr. on October 28, 1967, and they shared 42 years of marriage before he passed away in 2009. Juanita was a homemaker. She loved to cook and to do word search puzzles. She loved to go fishing. Mrs. McCollum was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son in infancy, Lowell Randall McCollum, and one brother William "Buck" Shoyer, step-father; Robert Payne.
