  Hensel, Augusta R. Hensel NEW MATAMORAS, Ohio — Augusta R. "Gussie" Hensel, 90, of Second Street, New Matamoras, formerly of Clay City, Ill., died Wednesday (April 26, 2006) at Marietta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marietta, Ohio. She was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Fly, Ohio, the daughter of the late August and Viola B. Forester Rosenlieb. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Matamoras Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hensel, on Jan. 31, 1975; 10 brothers, Pete, Lindy, Wilb, Albert, Clifford, Shirley, Paul, Art, Ed and Ike Rosenlieb; and three sisters, Elizabeth Rosenlieb, Belle Brown and Marjorie Guenther. Survivors include a son, a granddaughter ,two sisters, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great – great – grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Grisell Funeral Home, 37234 Mound St., Sardis, and from noon until time of the services at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Church of the Nazarene, 502 Front St., New Matamoras, with the Rev. N. David Hyde officiating. Interment will be in New Matamoras Cemetery in New Matamoras.
