    • Lulu Fern Nettleton, 76, Olney Rt. 3, died at 7 a.m. today at the family residence in Denver Township.

      She was born in Richland County, daughter of Thomas E. Watkins and Margaret Bateman Watkins.

      In 1929 she married Wiley Nettleton in Olney. They observed their 50th wedding anniversary on May 19.

      Surviving are her husband Wiley; three sons, Donald E. Nettleton, Niantic, Wiley D. Nettleton, Lincoln, Neb., and Delbert P. Nettleton, Olney Rt. 5; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. W. C. (Beatrice) Sessengood, Ogden; and a brother, Donald Householder, Dwight.

      She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Janice L. Nettleton.

      Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Summers Funeral Home, with Elder Arthur Warren Phillips officiating. Interment will be in the North Freedom Cemetery.

      Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
