- Services for Zollie Hutchings, 78, 215 W. North, who died Thursday, will be in the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Jones presiding. Visitation is in the funeral home. Burial
is in Crest Haven Cemetery with full military graveside rites.
Memorials can be made to the Zollie Hutchings Memorial Fund.
He was born in Clark County Feb. 26, 1905, to Stephen and Amanda (Kester) Hutchings. He married Leila Schonert in St. Charles, Mo., Oct. 13, 1940. She survives.
He was retired from the International Shoe Company, attended the First United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Olney Legion, V1W, and Disabled American Veterans.
Other survivors include two step-daughters, Mrs.May Evelyn Toliver, Washburn, and Mrs. Kenneth (Ruby) Yost, West Liberty; a brother, Dennie Levi Hutchings, Parkersburg; five sisters, Violet Carlyle, California, Letha Lewis, Sumner, Grade Goss, Newton, Marjorie Staton, Florida, and a twin sister, Ollie Chance, Lawrenceville; eight step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by five sisters, three brothers, three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
