    • Sarah Margaret Lauderback, age 82, of Flora, IL died at 7:28 AM on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Margaret was born March 26, 1930 in Louisville, IL to Birch and Zurah (Eastin) Wagley. She married John Lauderback Jr. on April 9, 1948 in Flora and this coming April they would have celebrated 65 years of anniversaries shared together. Margaret worked at the McEndree School cafeteria for over 20 years and later at Heritage Woods. She was a member of the First Church of God in Flora where her strong Christian faith was exhibited through teaching Sunday School, involvement in the Ladies group, and making meals. She always cared and wanted to help others. She also participated in Clay County Relay For Life. She loved when her family was all together, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband: John Lauderback Jr.; son: Carl (Kathy) Lauderback; daughters: Debby (Clint) Kimel and Glenda Lauderback; grandson: Jason (Jaclyn) Lauderback; two great-grandchildren: Chloe and Parker; three sisters: Lois Kleinmeyer, Doris Guinn, and Beverly (Gene) Daughenbaugh; sister-in-law: Lucille Wagley; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother (Robert "Dink" Wagley).

The funeral service for Sarah Margaret Lauderback was held at the First Church of God in Flora with Pastor Richard Artis officiating. Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora was in charge.
