    • Jesse was the son of William C and Martha (Hill) Madding. He had eight siblings: Mary Ann, Rebecca C, William H, Francis M, Amanda E, Ellen, James R and Christina Madding. And he had six half-brothers: Seymour, DeKalb, Isaac N, Leonard, Thomas and Champion Madding

      Jesse married Emma Jean Deischer daughter of James A and Matilda (Stroup) Deischer in Edwards Co., IL on 5 Nov 1876. The six children born to that union were: James H, Charles C, Ernest Charles, Bessie S, Mayo Gaspa and Matilda R Madding.
