    • Peggy Suzanne ‘Sue’ Vandeveer, age 58, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019, at her home.

      She was born May 30, 1960, in Plainfield, Indiana, the daughter of Joe and Georgianna (Porter) Feagans. She was married to Daniel Rapp and he preceded her in death December 8, 1982.

      Sue worked for over 20 years as an RN, and dedicated herself to care and concern for her geriatric patients. She enjoyed relaxing with colored pencil artbooks, watching mob-themed television, took an interest in decorating, and was a loving mother and grandmother.

      Sue is survived by a daughter: Nichole Windle Shock (Tommy) of Flora; her mother: Georgianna Feagans of Flora; six grandchildren: Allison Perry (Cameron Eckleberry), Mason Perry, Jackson Perry, Jaelynn Shock, Quinlan Shock, and Quadan Shock; great-granddaughter: Aylah Eckleberry; an aunt: Dorothy Jane Wilkes; a friend who was like a sister: Trudy Lambird of Flora; and her dog and best companion: Jazzy.

      She was preceded in death by her father and a brother: Jay George Feagans.

      A Celebration of Life for Sue will be announced. Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora is assisting the family with arrangements.
