- MAXINE CAUDLE ALLISON, 92, of Xenia, IL passed away 4:05AM Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Flora Gardens Care Center.
Maxine was born August 10, 1922 at Orchardville, IL to John and Gladys Catherine (Schofield) Smith. She first married Donald Caudle July 5, 1941 and he preceded her in death January 19, 1978. She later married Eugene David Allison October 9, 1999 at Zenith, IL.
Maxine retired after ten years as a Spot Welder for Airtex Products at Fairfield, IL and also worked thirty-six years at International Shoe Company at Flora, IL. She was member of Brush Creek Community of Christ Church at Zenith, IL. Maxine enjoyed bowling, gardening, growing flowers, quilting and dancing.
She is survived by her husband David Allison; two daughters Donna Adkins (Edwin) Lockwood and Sue Bennett; two step-daughters Regina (Robert) Bricker and Connie (Gary) Hilderbrand; two step-sons Jim (Phyllis) Allison and Lavern (Dee) Strange. Also surviving are five sisters Betty (Jack) Cameron, Florence Talbert, Imogene Caudle, Ruth Jones, and Ruby Cook; several grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, first husband Donald, brothers Burl and Earl Smith, sisters Glenda Davidson, Vernita Scott and Catherine Lane.
Funeral services for Maxine were held at Brush Creek Community of Christ Church.
Burial in Harrell Cemetery.
Memorials to Brush Creek Campground and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
