  Myra Jane Adkins, age 58, of Olney, Illinois, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born October 13, 1962, in Herrin, Illinois, the daughter of Paul and Rosemary (Coriasco) Murphy. She was united in marriage to Bryan K. Adkins on July 30, 1994, in Allen, Maryland and he preceded her in death April 1, 2014. Myra enjoyed attending her grandkids sporting events. She had a love for animals and loved her dogs Madison, Dillon, and Remi. She was a member of Olney Southern Baptist Church. She is survived by a son: Dustin (Sara) Brown of Olney; 3 grandchildren: Alexis, Ashton, and Brayden Brown all of Olney; mother: Rosemary Murphy of Olney; 2 brothers: David (Amy) Murphy of Olney and Michael Murphy of Bridgeport; a sister: Pat Murphy of Teutopolis; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father: Paul Murphy; and her husband. A graveside memorial ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday May 20, 2021, at Ingraham Cemetery. Those attending are asked to arrive directly at the cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
