    • Adolph Rudolphi, 77, one of Wendelin's leading citizens, passed away at his home last Saturday noon.

      Mr. Rudolphi was born in Wendelin and had lived there his entire life. He will be greatly missed by everyone in the community.

      Funeral services were held at the Holy Cross church in Wendelin Tuesday morning with interment in the parish cemetery. Rev. Fr. Edmund Niess was in charge of the services.

      The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Amelia Rudolphi; four children, Mrs. Mary Bahl and Mrs. Maggie Bangert, of Ingraham; John Rudolphi, of Noble, and Mrs. Leona Frohning, of Newton.

      Two children Joseph and Emma preceded him in death.

      He also leaves 19 grandchildren; a brother, Ed Rudolphi, of Newton; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Kissel, of Evansville, and many other relatives and friends.
