  Retired Eberle Storekeeper, Dies William A. Denton, 66 of 605 Gordon, died at 6:45 a.m. today at St. Anthony Memorial hospital. He was a storekeeper at Eberle for 26 years, state employee for a number of years and a former bus driver for Unit 40. Mr. Denton was born Feb. 11, 1901 at Edgewood. He married the former Bernice Woody in 1927. He was a member of Winterrowd AF and AM and Mt. Zion Methodist church. Surviving are his wife Bernice; sons, Dennis, Pontiac; Billy Lee, Robinson; brothers, Alva Denton, East Prarie, Mo.; Ben Denton, Flora; sisters, Mrs. Farry Sapp, Flora; Mrs. Lulu Logan, Armstrong; Mrs. Nina Hunter, East Prarie, Mo, and Mrs. Bessie Mills, Elgin; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Wright funeral chapel, Dieterich, with burial in Arborcrest cemetery.
