    • He worked in the oil fields as a roustabout for Pure Oil and Unocal for 42 years until his retirement in 1979. He served in the U. S. Army from September, 1946 to May, 1947.

      He was in the 149th Replacement Battalion and served in Pisa, Italy. He was a member of Ste. Marie American Legion Post 932 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4226 in Olney.
