  Everett Dale Young, Jr., 48, of Flora, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at his residence. Everett was born on November 16, 1970 in Flora, IL, the son of Everett Dale Young and Donna Mitchell. Everett loved spending time with his children, family, and friends. He loved Nascar #48 and also loved fishing and camping. Everett really loved music, including the Foo Fighters. He also enjoyed participating in the polar plunge for Special Olympics with Erika. Everett is survived by his special friend, Kristi Bailey, of Louisville, IL; daughters, Ashley Guthery and Joshawa Heir, of Ramsey, IL, Jessica and husband, Christopher Spour, of Altamont, IL, and Erika Young, of Ramsey, IL; son, Donovan Young and Britney Heiman, of Vandalia, IL; father, Everett Dale Young, Sr. and Roberta, of Rinard, IL; mother, Donna Young, of Flora, IL; brothers, Tim Young, of Clay City, IL, Ted Young and Beth, of Louisville, IL, and Brad Young and Penny, of Flora, IL; sister, Donnita Gregory, of Flora, IL; step-brother, Dave Casolari and Stacy, of Flora, IL; step-sister, Cheri Casolari, of Rinard, IL; and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Dale Young. Memorials can be made to the family. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Clay City. There will be no service. Cremation Rites were accorded.
