  • Notes
    • She was the oldest of six girls. She graduated from high school in Olney and worked at the telephone company until she was married. She then moved to St. Louis, Mo., where she worked until retiring in the telephone order department for Famous Barr.
After retirement, she and her husband moved to Noble, where they opened and ran an antique shop for many years.

She belonged to the Heritage House Museum, the Richland County Historical Society, Genealogy Society and was a lifetime member of Elm Street Christian Church.
She sent cards and letters to everyone she knew, loved to read and do genealogy, collect antiques and travel. She wrote her life story from 1988 until 1990. She was an optimist and believed everything happened for a reason. She was proud of her family and loved all of her grandkids. She was an amazing lady, and loved life.

She lived at Burgin Manor in Olney since 2002.
