Notes - FLORA - - Daniel H. Rapp, 85, of Salem, formerly of Flora, died 8 a.m. Wednesday (June 6, 1984) in Marion Veterans Administration Hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Hosselton, Bookhout & Engelmeier Funeral Home Ltd., Flora, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday with 7:30 p.m. Masonic services. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora. Memorials: Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, St. Louis.
Mr. Rapp was born in Vernon County, Mo., son of Robert and Martha Rapp. He was a retired foreman at International Shoe Company, a member of Flora Masonic Lodge 204, Scottish Rite of Southern Illinois, Ainad Temple, Belleville, Flora American Legion, Flora VFW and a World War I veteran.
He married Alice Keeling in 1919.
Surviving are his wife; sons, William A. of Flora; Paul of Midland, Texas; Maurice of New Orleans, La.; daughter, Marcella Shinn of Kansas City, Mo.; brother, Clare J. of Albuquerque, N. M.: 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Two sons and two grandchildren preceded him in death.

Services will be at 11 o'clock Monday at the church; burial in Mount Olivet cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8 o'clock Sunday night at the Blackman Guardian chapel, where friends may call after 1 o'clock Sunday.
